Resorts of Georgia

Everyone likes to vacay at different resorts. It is especially nice if you can relax at several resorts in one country. Georgia is ecaxtly such country. Here you will find ski, balneological or sea resorts. Almost every corner of Georgia has a resort. Georgia actively hosts tourists at all four seasons of the year.
In winter, Georgia is visited by a lot of people who seek the best places to ski and snowboard and Georgia is a real paradise for them as, there are several ski resorts here.
It is a 2-hour drive from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, to the mountain-ski resort of Gudauri. Gudauri ski resort has different skiing tracks, for every person who enjoys skiing.

If you make your way to western Georgia, you will find several winter resorts here. The first one is Bakuriani. Bakuriani is a wonderfully cozy resort where you can ski, relax, ride horses and snowmobiles, or even take a walk in the beautiful pine forests nearby.
Next one is Svaneti ski resort with two best resorts for skiing – Hatsvali and Tetnuldi. Here you can ski both on tracks and in powder snow. If you are attracted to more extreme sports, then you can engage in heliskiing and return home loaded with amazing impressions.
If you want to cut yourself off from the world and comfortably ski in the snow and untouched slopes, then Bakhmaro is your destination. Bakhmaro is not a standard resort with cable cars and the best hotels. This is a cozy winter resort, where you can only go up by snowmobile.
The last mountain resort is Goderdzi, which is located in the Adjara region and promises wonderful nature and relaxation. It is also distinguished by the fact that Adjara is a region by the Black Sea, and if you get tired of skiing, you can visit Batumi and continue your vacation there.
In the meantime, we also mentioned the sea. Part of Georgia is located on the shores of the Black Sea. You can relax in different cities by the Black Sea, Batumi is especially large and diverse.

In this city located on the edge of the Black Sea, the traveller will find everything, delicious Adjarian cuisine, bars, clubs, luxury hotels, cultural heritage monuments and shopping centers.
Apart from Batumi, you can rest in Kobuleti, Grigoleti and Anaklia sea resorts.
Tourists come to Georgia not only for vacation, but also for treatment at balneological resorts. This direction of tourism is improving and developing every day. The most famous balneological resort is Tskaltubo, where you can be treated with different kinds of mineral waters.
We should not miss Borjomi, where various hotels offer spa and relaxation.

We also have a spa resort in Tbilisi, where treatment is carried out with sulfur waters and various mineral waters.
To divert the waters a little, Akhtala resort is located in Gurjaani in Kakheti, where rheumatism and various diseases are treated with mud.
If you decide to enjoy the mountains, you have many choices here. You can visit Tusheti in Eastern Georgia, which is available for travellers only 4 months of the year. Here you will get acquainted with local traditions and culture. You will be able to visit the shepherds and learn about their lifestyle and style.
Racha is a beautiful mountainous region, where there are beautiful pine tree forests, cultural monuments and many hiking trails.
