Tbilisi – Jvari – Mtskheta – Tbilisi City Tour

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour by driving to Mtskheta, the first capital of Georgia. Here we will visit Jvari, a 6th century monument standing on the top of the mountain overlooking the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. We will then head to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a burial site of Christ’s robe, was originally built in the 11th century and along with Jvari is inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shortly, we will return to Tbilisi and have a city tour. We will first visit Metekhi, which overlooks Meidan Square. After that, we will walk on the Bridge of Peace that links the old part of the city to the Rike Park. After that, we will visit The Clock Tower, where you can see an angel comes out every hour to ring the bell with a small hammer. Later, we will take a cable car to Narikala Fortress and continue walking to the statue of Mother of Georgia. Soon then, we will visit Abanotubani with sulfur baths. Then, we take a Funicular Train to visit Mtatsminda Park. It is the best place for fun and relaxation in the city. The Tbilisi TV tower is also located in the park. Tbilisi – Bodbe – Sighnaghi – Numisi Wine Museum – Alaverdi Monastery – Tbilisi

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour by driving to Kakheti, the main wine producing region in the country. First, we will visit Bodbe, which is immersed in green, the territory is decorated with colorful flower beds and in the east, there is an observation deck with a beautiful view of the Alazani Valley. After enjoying the panoramic views, we will continue our tour to Sighnaghi which is called the City of Love. Home to Georgia’s famous painter Pirosmani, the city is full of 18th and 19th-century architecture and with a Tuscan feel. Here you will have a chance to climb the old Sighnaghi Wall which is five kilometers long and has 23 towers. After that, we will drive to Numisi Wine Museum, which tells the centuries-old history and culture of Georgian winemaking and ethnography. After that, we will head to Alaverdi Monastery which was founded by Joseph Alaverdeli, one of the Assyrian fathers in the middle of the VI century and was one of the most outstanding chapels of medieval Georgia. Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi – Dariali Gorge – Tbilisi

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour by driving to Kazbegi in northeastern Georgia. Our first stop will be at Ananuri Complex, a former residence of the Aragvi Dukes dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The fortress beautifully overlooks the Zhinvali Dam, one of the main reservoirs of Georgia. Shortly, we will head to Gudauri Panorama, built in the late 19th century, is a circular balcony hanging off a 600-meter cliff with breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains. Shortly after, we will arrive in Kazbegi town and drive up to Gergeti, which is located at an altitude of 2170m above sea level, under the bed of Mount Kazbegi. After that, we will head to Dariali Gorge, one of the most spectacular gorges along the Tergi River. Dariali in Persian means Gate of the Alans. Departure to Sadakhlo – Arrival in Yerevan

Yerevan City Tour

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour the city tour. The city is literally saturated with bright light. You can see a magnificent panorama overlooking Mount Ararat from any height or elevation. Our tour will introduce you to such famous places as: St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral, Republic Square, Marshal Baghramyan Avenue. A visit to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide with a stop in Victory Park with an overview of the Mother Armenia monument and the famous panoramic view of the city center. Yerevan – Tsaghkadzor – Lake Sevan – Sevanavak – Yerevan

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour by driving to Tsaghkadzor, which means a “bloomig gorge” and situated thirty kilometers away from Yerevan. In the summertime, this is an incredible forest, blooming flora, clear air and infinite tranquility. In winters, on the contrary, the city comes to life and transforms itself into a ski resort with crisp snow, ropeway and slopes for skis and snowboards. Later, we will head to Lake Sevan, the largest source of fresh water for the country and the also the biggest in the whole Caucasus. Surrounded by mountain ranges at an altitude of about 1900 meters above sea level, Sevan is striking in its beauty and azure-blue water surface. The lake has a small peninsula, at the top of which is located the Monastery of Sevanavank, built in the 18th century and is still fuctioning till now. Shortly, we will return to Yerevan. Yerevan – Garni Temple – Geghard Monastery – Yerevan

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour by driving to Garni Temple, which is an ancient pagan temple, situated thirty-seven kilometers away from the capital. The temple was restored in 1976 and welcomes a multitude of tourists daily to this day. Since 2011, it has been awarded the UNESCO heritage award. The picturesque mountains, steep gorge and endless echo to be heard again and again, fascinate and ask to return. Shortly, we will continue to Geghard Monastery – a masterpiece of Armenian medieval architecture amazes with its detail and antiquity. Geghard is a complex consisting of the main chapel, two cave halls, and tombs. It is also included in the UNESCO list of heritage since 2000. After enjoying your time there, we will return to Yerevan. Overnight stay in Yerevan (B/-/-).
