Tbilisi – Jvari – Mtskheta – Tbilisi City Tour

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour by driving to Mtskheta, the first capital of Georgia. Here we will visit Jvari, a 6th century monument standing on the top of the mountain overlooking the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. We will then head to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a burial site of Christ’s robe, was originally built in the 11th century and along with Jvari is inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shortly, we will return to Tbilisi and have a city tour. We will first visit Metekhi, which overlooks Meidan Square. After that, we will walk on the Bridge of Peace that links the old part of the city to the Rike Park. After that, we will visit The Clock Tower, where you can see an angel comes out every hour to ring the bell with a small hammer. Later, we will take a cable car to Narikala Fortress and continue walking to the statue of Mother of Georgia. Soon then, we will visit Abanotubani with sulfur baths. Then, we take a Funicular Train to visit Mtatsminda Park. It is the best place for fun and relaxation in the city. The Tbilisi TV tower is also located in the park. Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour by driving to Kazbegi in northeastern Georgia. Our first stop will be at Ananuri Complex, a former residence of the Aragvi Dukes dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The fortress beautifully overlooks the Zhinvali Dam, one of the main reservoirs of Georgia. Shortly, we will head to Gudauri Panorama, built in the late 19th century, is a circular balcony hanging off a 600-meter cliff with breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains. Shortly after, we will arrive in Kazbegi town and drive up to Gergeti, which is located at an altitude of 2170m above sea level, under the bed of Mount Kazbegi. Finally, we will return to Tbilisi. Tbilisi – David Gareja – Badiauri Complex – Tbilisi

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, we will start our tour by driving to David Gareja, located on Iori plateau near the border of Georgia and Azerbaijan. It includes the complex of 19 Medieval monasteries with approximately 5 000 cells for monks. David Gareji is one of the most important landmarks of Georgia. This site is characterised by a unique combination of historic architecture, prehistoric archaeological sites, rich palaeonthological fields and important bio-geographical features. Shortly then, you will visit a traditional Georgian wine cellar Badiauri Complex for wine tasting in the village of Badiauri. Finally, we will return to Tbilisi. Overnight stay in Tbilisi (B/-/-).
Tbilisi – Gori – Uplistsikhe Cave – Kutaisi

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, you will check out and start our tour by driving to Joseph Stalin Museum where you can explore Stalin’s childhood home, walk through an exhibition filled with rare artifacts, photographs, and documents, and step inside his legendary armored train carriage. Uplistsikhe Cave, a rock-hewn town, one of the oldest settlements in the Caucasus. Its literal translation is “Lord’s Fortress” and continued to be inhabited until the 13th century AD. Nowadays, it is considered to be an open-air museum. Shortly, we will continue our tour to Kutaisi. Overnight stay in Kutaisi (B/-/-).
Kutaisi City Tour – Borjomi – Akhaltsikhe

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, you will check out and start our city tour. You will first visit Central Square, where you will see the Colchis Fountain. After that, you will continue with the Opera House and Mon Plaisir Arch. Shortly then, you will walk on the White Bridge and head to Bagrati Cathedral, built in the beginning of the 11th century. The cathedral amazes each visitor with its scale and unique architecture. After that, we will drive to Borjomi, the southern part of Georgia. It’s a hydrothermal health spa resort with well-known mineral water. Here we will visit Borjomi Park. The park has an ecological theme with a statue of Prometheus which stands at the base of a small waterfall. After enjoying your time in the park, we will head to Akhaltsikhe. Akhaltsikhe – Paravani Lake – Dashbashi Canyon – Tbilisi

After breakfast in the hotel, at 10 AM, you will check out and start our tour by visiting Rabati Castle, one of the most impressive historical monuments in Georgia. Built in the medieval period, the double-walled complex originally served as a residence for the rulers of this region, with its own citadel, and treasury, among other things. Here you will find the elements characteristic of different cultures: Georgian, Ottoman, Hebrew and Armenian. Later, you will make a stop to take photos at the Khertvissi Fortress which was built in the 10th century and Paravani Lake, the largest lake in Georgia. After that you will visit Dashbashi Canyon, which was renovated in 2021 with walking paths to the canyon. The canyon, measuring 7 kilometers long and 300 meters deep, was formed on a volcanic plateau. After walking down to the beautiful waterfall, you will walk on a 40-meter-long glass bridge right above the canyon, with a diamond-shaped cafe bar in the middle.
